According to the blog puzzle, there are 40 squares in total for the blog puzzle. I don't really understand the statement "A square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not a square." although I just counted the squares. Here's a picture of the colored ones.
The blog statement should say that all squares are rectangles, but all rectangles are not necessarily squares! Thanks for such a great demonstration of your thinking!!!
